Throughout the year, Chestnut Group member artists produce plein air paintings – works painted outdoors – and pieces in other media. Their artwork is gathered for exhibition and sale at spring and fall fundraising events. After the group formed in late 2001, Chestnut Group artists raised more than $60,000 in four years, benefiting the Land Trust for Tennessee, Percy Warner Park, Friends of Radnor Lake, and others.
